Recently Scrapbook.com held a free event called SBC Fest and there were so many great ideas and techniques. For this card I was inspired by Simon Hurley to make this layered background using a decorative stencil along with gold and rose Lunar Pastes. He also showed some quick coloring techniques for the poinsettias. To bring in a little fun I added Gerda Steiner's Christmas Kitty stamp.

I had a lot of fun making this card using Gina K.'s green glitter paste and Taylored Expressions tree stencil. The cute kitty is a stamp by Gerda Steiner Designs and I colored him like our cat Blizzard, a flame point siamese. This card has tons of sparkle, which is hard to show in a photo, with the sentiment by Waffle Flower die cut from gold mirrored cardstock.

I just got a new Christmas sentiment die set from Pink & Main and couldn't wait to use it with the very merry dancing cats from Waffle Flower! It just makes me smile. I will be giving this special card to my Cat Daddy son.
