A Bear-y Happy Birthday

Hello and Welcome!

CASology is celebrating their 5-year Anniversary with a great blog hop and, of course, a challenge to include balloons in a card. Here is my design:

I tried a lot of new products with this card. First, I used a gel plate and several new Distress Oxide inks to create the background. I just smooshed the inks directly into the gel plate, sprayed with water and pressed the edge of the paper into it.

Next, I used my new Hero Arts "Make A Wish Birthday" stamp and die set. The sentiment, party hat (colored with Zig markers), balloons and banners are all from this great set. I also added Hero Arts tiny clear gems.

Lastly, the adorable bear is from Ellen Hutson's "All Insides" stamp and die set. To finish off the card, B&W bakers twine was added as balloon strings.
