Hello Hello

Hello and welcome!

This is a perfect card to sent to my friend Sue, as we often talk on the phone.

I used SugarPea Designs' Every Day Is Christmas stamp set for the bird and Take Note stamp set for the sentiment. The card design and colors were inspired by the challenge on the SugarPea's blog.

Jeff's "Empty Nest" Birthday

Hello and welcome!

To celebrate Jeff's first "empty nest" birthday, I booked us a romantic get-away at the St. James in Red Wing.

The all wonderful chipboard used on this page is from Creative Embellishments. I was inspired by the fun primary colors from their mood board.

Aurora Borealis

Hello and welcome!

I have never seen the Northern Lights, even though I live in Minnesota. It is something that is high on my list of things to see. Although I can not see them now, it is fun to create them and sent them to a friend!

This card was created using Memory Box's Stitched Circle Trees and Poppy Stamp's Hip Hello dies. The colorful background was made with Distress Oxide Inks.

Birthday Gifts

Hello and welcome!

My friend, Treasure, has a birthday coming up. She loves movies, so I made a movie themed gift basket for her and drove it to her house.

The cute gift tags were created using Gerda Steiner's new Birthday Bear stamp set.

State Fair

Hello and welcome!

Although the Minnesota State Fair is cancelled this year, it is fun scrapping photos from last year. Check out the huge stuffed bear sitting next to Aaron!

This layout uses Photoplay's State Fair collection and is based on a sketch by Rochelle Spears. It was also inspired by Stacy's tic-tac-toe challenge. I used the middle column: arrows, journaling and circles.

Twins Game

Hello and welcome!

For years we had wanted to see the inside of the Twins' stadium. So when I won tickets to a game, we were thrilled. It was the first baseball game for Shara and she, like us, really enjoyed it. Best part, our team won! It was a good thing we got to go last September as it might be a very long time before we can do this again.

This page uses Graphic 45's Good Old Sport collection.
