Hello Aaron!

Hello and welcome!

It has been a while. To say it has been a busy summer would be an understatement. Kids graduating, going off to college, getting engaged, married and buying a new home, not to mention Jeff and I celebrating milestone birthdays and anniversary. The good news is that there are a lot of pictures to scrapbook and many cards needed. So it is time to get crafty!

I wanted to start by sending my youngest son, who is off to college in Wisconsin, a card to let him know we miss him.

I love how the cats kinda look like Jeff & me, and if you pull the tab up and down the paws wave. This cute set is by Art Impressions. I camouflaged the brads that hold the paws to look like the tags on their collars. I colored the cats with Zig Watercolor Brush markers

This card is based on a sketch by Sketch N Scrap.  The sentiment is by Altenew. It is perfect for Aaron as is always happy and smiling.

Seize the Day

Hello and Welcome!

Today I am playing with a bunch of Pink Fresh Studio products. I love Pink Fresh as they have everything you need to make beautiful cards and amazing layouts all in one place. One stop shopping PLUS it all coordinates!

This card used Pink Fresh's Life Noted pattern papers, Botanical Branch die cut, Bloom & Grow Stamps (butterfly) and Indigo Hills 2 Puffy Stickers (sentiment). The leaves and butterfly were painted with Pink Fresh's Liquid Watercolors (one drop goes a long way!).

Altenew Thank You Card

Hello and welcome!

We have lots of thank you notes to get out this week, as Aaron's grad party was Saturday. Here is beautiful one created using Altenew products:

I used Altenew's Flower Vine stamp set and colored it with Altenew's Tropical Fiesta Watercolor Brush Markers. The sentiment is Altenew's Simply Thank You die which is popped up using craft foam. I love the casual elegance of this card and that it is easy to reproduce.

Bitty Bear Thank You

Hello and welcome!

Aaron's grad party was Saturday and we need a bunch of thank you notes. Everyone was so kind and generous. Here is a fun note made for Aaron's co-worker:

I used My Favorite Things Bitty Bear stamp set. These little guys are so fun to work with. I added the cute hair bow and bow tie. The pattern papers are Elle's Studio Beautiful Day collection.

Graduation Card

Hello and welcome!

With a Senior this year, we have a lot of grad parties to attend and lots of cards to make.  This card is fun as it can be customized with the school's colors:

The background was created by masking off areas and blending Distress Oxide Inks.

This card used My Favorite Things (MFT) products. The YAY and stamped words are from MFT's Yay For You stamp set. The banners are MFT's Mini Wavy Pennants die set. The numbers are MFT's Bottlecap Numbers die set and the Congratulations frame is MFT's Congratulations Circle Frame die. This card is based on a sketch from the MFT blog.

Celebrate Mom's Day

Hello and welcome!

I always love it when the whole family gets together. Ty and Shara had a Game of Thrones party to attend, so we had a nice Mother's Day brunch beforehand. Jeff made amazing waffles with several types of fruit toppings. Yum!!!

This page features Altenew's Wild Hibiscus flower stamps, which were colored with watercolors and allowed to drip.

The background pattern paper, wooden flair buttons, and acetate frame are all part of Altenew's Reflection Collection.

This layout is based on a sketch from Scrap Our Stash.
