Hello and welcome!
Recently Scrapbook.com held a free event called SBC Fest and there were so many great ideas and techniques. For this card I was inspired by Simon Hurley to make this layered background using a decorative stencil along with gold and rose Lunar Pastes. He also showed some quick coloring techniques for the poinsettias. To bring in a little fun I added Gerda Steiner's Christmas Kitty stamp.
This card is entered in the Day #1 Christmas Kickstart Challenge.
Thanks for stopping by,
-June
So, so beautiful, June - the stencilled texture paste is fabulous - I love that you used two pastes for this special effect. The kitty snuggling in the poinsettias is adorable. It's a gorgeous festive card.
