Oops! Layout

Hello and Welcome!

My 10th grade son's last day of school was on Thursday. He was so excited,  he threw his backpack high into the air. A little too high ... see it there lodged 15ft in the tree! It took him 20 mins. to get it down before he could really start his summer break!

One of my favorite design looks is bright colors with a contrast of black and white. Bobunny's Believe collection offered the beautiful, bright colors of summer. I contrasted it with Thicker's bold, black foam letters and white matting around the photo. A vellum background was added to further highlight the photos.

To add to the summer theme, I created flowers with Simon Says Stamp's Friends For Life stamp set and Quick Quotes' PowderPuff Chalking Inks. Ranger's black Enamel Accents was used in the flowers' centers.

To finish things off, I dug through my stash and found a few school themed embellishments including two backpacks (score!) and notebook paper for the lower border. This page is based on a sketch at Stuck?! Sketches.
