It's snowing tonight again. This much snow in November is unusual even for Minnesota. Luckily this is perfect weather for staying home and crafting. Here is a snow inspired card:
The sentiment is mostly from Altenew's Heartfelt Sentiments stamp set, but I masked in the word "snow" from The Cat's Pajama's stamp set. The background was colored with metallic paint using the resist method. The adorable snowman is a die cut from Simon Says Stamps' Picture Book Snowman, with the gold glitter star from SSS's Large Holiday Shapes. The snowman's eye, nose and buttons were filled in with Ranger's Ebony Enamel paint.
This card is entered in:
- TCP Tuesday #352 at The Cat's Pajamas
- The October Work It Wednesday challenge at Simon Says Stamp
- The "Thanks/Thanksgiving" Monday challenge at Simon Says Stamp
- The "All That Glitters Is Gold" Wednesday challenge at Simon Says Stamp
Stay warm,
-june

ReplyDeleteThis card is adorable! I really love how you created such a sense of energy with the background. It mimics a swirling sky of snowflakes, but I love how its actually floral elements! So clever! The components came together perfectly and I'm so glad you shared your talents with us for this week's Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge!
ReplyDeleteThat background is so beautiful and eye catching. I love the cutie patootie snowman against it. Thank you so much for joining us on Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge. xx Ankita
