I was so proud of my son, Aaron, and the robotics teams - they took the day off school and lobbied at the Minnesota State Capitol for more STEM (science, technology, engineering & math) education funding for after-school activities. They met with Senator Franzen and took over the rotunda demonstrating their robots. Aaron was the only student brave enough to ask several questions at the Town Hall meeting. Jeff and I got to come along and watch.
I like to use a white background when I use several busy photos, but I often feel it is a bit stark and it leave my pictures "hanging." To solve this...
Design Tip:
Stencil along the outside edge of your design. Stenciling adds *depth *grounding *color *interest *to the theme, *pulls things together and *draws your eye to the photos. Plus it only take a minute and is easy to do.
For the stenciling, I blended Slate and Feather Gray PowderPuff Chalking Inks by Quick Quotes (by far the best inks for this technique!) with a mini blending tool and TCW gear stencil.
